   By now you might have finished first lesson. So this post of mine will include a reminder tip for “SCHOOL OF ELEMENTS” and the remaining post will be regarding “ACID AND BASE CHEMISTRY”

              

SCHOOL OF ELEMENTS

   Take a printout of the periodic table. I have posted this one for you it is from www.thinglink.com. 

   

And this one is from sciencenotes.org.

You may choose another from net.

Now what to do: all you have to do is mark each and every thing on this periodic table. FOR instance the different blocks the metalloids, alkaline earth metals, halogens, noble elements etc. Don’t forget a single thing!! After you’re done with this stick this periodic table on a wall that you see every day. This will help you remember each and every part of the periodic table. Trust me it really works as I told you before board does not force you to use textual language for science. SO IF YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE THEN YOU JUST HAVE TO IMPLEMENT IT.

           I approached this lesson in the same way and thus shared with you all.

               

ACID AND BASE CHEMISTRY

SCIENCE IS A SUBJECT WHERE EACH CHAPTER INVOLVED IN THE

 SYLLABUS  IS A SUBJECT

 IN ITSELF, IT’S VAST; YOU CANNOT FOLLOW A PARTICULAR 

PATTERN TO STUDY ALL THE 

CHAPTERS. EACH CHAPTER IS DIFFERENT AND SO IS THE PATTERN!!

        So, speaking about acid and base chemistry its foundation is elements, their configuration and indicators. There are many awesome concepts regarding acid base chemistry. You can understand these concepts really well if you know the element and configuration as I said. You can read about indicators in your textbook I’m just mentioning about the ones that are not mentioned in our text.

               

INDICATORS:

There’s a small paragraph mentioned in our text book regarding olfactory indicators. They have not mentioned the types but sometimes questions are asked regarding it.

ONION, GARLIC and VANILLA are some of the olfactory indicators these indicators basically change their odour in acidic or basic conditions.

NOTE: Understand the portion regarding litmus indicator perfectly it plays a major role regarding application part.

When you will study carbon and carbon compounds you will understand how important element carbon is. This is not new to the ones who have appeared Homi Bhabha Examination. The next important element is hydrogen its name is derived from the Greek word “Hydro”. I know you guys can surf around and get this information I’m just trying to save your time. I had read this before.

COMPREHEND THE PART REGARDING HOW TO FORM A CHEMICAL EQUATION WELL.

 It’s really important for approaching chemistry, your implementation part etc. Read carefully I’m not telling you to mug up that part. The least questions are asked regarding the steps of forming an equation but comprehending this will surely help you to appear concept based questions.

SALTS:

You need to be perfect with each and every salt as questions are frequently asked regarding them. Understand (NaCl) Sodium Chloride perfectly this portion will surely help you while studying Metals and Non-metals.

I’m sharing this with you because this worked for me. When you keep this in mind and then study you don’t have to take much efforts when studying further lessons. You actually know something more before you study those lessons. Biology, Physics, Chemistry are not different parts they are interrelated you just need to understand that.
